Welcome to All Message from Adele
Hello And Welcome to All,

I love this time of year, a time of a renewal to life as we sit and watch the wonders all around us... so much abundance... Mother Earth changing with the seasons from summer to fall and on to winter, and my it is so glorious, the feelings that are so associated with it, earthy smells and home cooking to warm your heart and home, a spirit of family permeates our whole being that one cannot help, but to feel the coziness that is waiting to embrace us. The time of year here in the states that is resonating with so many of us as we prepare ourselves for the coming months ahead of burrowing in, some find this comforting, a time to be able to do the work that is before them and being with themselves more, finding their secure zone of who they are, embracing their loved ones around them to share in this glorious feeling. Some find this a time of deep reflection, which, can be uncomfortable, as they can feel the echoing of their hearts deep inside and learning to face it and work to move forward to become that which they seek to be. Waiting to be embraced by their loved ones - one more time as they move forward. I want you to know right now, that you have friends in all the places that they are meant to be in your life and share with you.

To all of you, I honor you for all that you have chosen in the direction you look for. Standing up and walking out into the mysterious of not knowing and throwing your arms wide open to welcome that which is there to support you in this wonderful time of renewing thy self. Embrace and celebrate who you are!

And that is just what Spirit is doing all the time – waiting to embrace and celebrate with us.

We knock on the doors and ask to receive, for assistance, guidance, help, understanding, learning, etc... Are we there, to see when the doors open - to recognize it?

I want to say a special Hello to my friend Liliana, down under in Queens land, Australia. ^O^. As I was writing my opening lines I was having a heard time writing about the season that is upon us here in the states, my guides were chuckling at my side and I could not figure what was going on and then I took a break, when I came back my e-mail was getting full and when I looked, here was this lovely letter from Liliana, so I would like to share this with you, as you see why my guides were chuckling to me:

I sat there and smiled from ear to ear and had one of my famous laughs to myself and a huge out pouring of Love for Liliana, as she so gave me that which I had been sitting and looking for, but could not see. “We knock on the doors and ask to receive, for assistance, guidance, help, understanding, learning, etc...  Are we there, to see when the doors open - to recognize it?”

I recognized it as the door that opened, and sent Liliana a huge hello and thanks for opening the door to me that night and helping me see.

Bless you dear heart and much Love to you for letting me share this with so many. Have a lovely spring and place one on the barbi for me!

And to all of you - here closer to home, thank you, this has been a wonderful summer season with excellent energy flowing to all of us.

We have some new things at Angelic Wise Ones to look at, as the fall comes striding in, we are off to an excellent start with workshops, with the most tremendous students that I could ask for, as I thank you for attending, both in-person and long-distance and sharing in so many ways.

NEW Teleclasses are coming your way, as I will be personally guiding you through meeting your guides and teachers this fall, I am so excited to be teaching in this new light, and bringing so many of us together as we do so. I will be sending more information soon.

The website for “Angelic Wings of Light“ is angelically coming along, this website is dedicated to my mother and all the lovely souls who are survivors and patients with Cancer, their family & friends, with a lot of wonderful souls who have been helping to bring this together and helping me to meet those loving souls, who are here to add to it in so many ways, as Spirit opens more of those doors. We will keep you updated. Thank you so much, for the lovely stories and sharing from your heart. We love you!

The Beauty of Who You Are
Children are returning to school here in the states, happily running to make new friends and to start the beginning of what they do not know, which is before them.

As I watch the children wait for the bus, their parents nervously meeting each other, trying to answer all the questions their children have about school, I have to laugh and smile. Sending your children to the un-know of school is familiar, comfortable and also un-nerving. Will the teacher like them, will they like their teacher, will they make new friends or keep their old friends, and will the lessons be to hard or even too easy. What is expected of me as a parent at school, then... will I make it on time for work???

As the bus returns home from the first day of school, That huge smile and love, of being there to welcome them home and asking how their day was, going through all of the questions, you have on your mind, being there to meet them, in reassuring them that everything is okay and yes, you are there waiting with open arms, as they are home with you once more.

These are only a sample of what runs through a parents mind on that first day of school, even as an adult, without children, you have sat and waited behind the bus in traffic or outside your home, as the children are going or returning from school, and all those memories re-surface to remind you of your own experience.

If not, take the time to remember now... the feelings involved, WOW; they go from happy memories to those not so happy ones. And this is all okay; it is okay, for the fact that you are remembering a time of your life not so long ago of the pure innocence of it all. And you made it, here you are in life and you made it past all the up and downs, highs and lows and you have grown from each one.

As we open the door to our own Spiritual journey we are doing these exact same things, are we not? We are experiencing learning through life, except at a whole new level, bringing with us our experiences of what is right and what is wrong, what we want in our lives and what we do not. This too, I know, is very hard for many, stepping out, into the un-known of what we have ever been taught - can be and is - un-nerving, intimidating, un-comfortable at times, as we start to seek that which has not been explained in detail to us before. Stepping out to understanding how to search and find it, to be who you are.

And it is okay, Just take the first step as that child does getting on the school bus – one step at a time...

It is then connecting into that inner knowing of learning process deep inside of all of us –; it is tapping into this, to understand and move forward in the spirit of what is before you. That step with the intention of knowing, knowing there is more, knowing you are more, of going ahead and seeking out the understanding and knowledge of how to search and find it.

Throw your arms out wide around you and walk boldly to claim, that which is yours by birthright. I often ask, why is it when you look around you, people are living their life as they choose, why then, are you not living your life, they way you feel inside. Bringing forth the real you? You are a loving being right now, step into that, place your boundaries, by saying an empowerment statement each morning “I am a loving being, all those with whom I meet this day, shall enrich and enhance all that I am.” And then step forward to live it, just as a school teacher enriches their students lives with acknowledging the power, of who they are in their academic learning, you also have been given the learning from the master teacher himself; to empower you to walk forward in the beauty of who you are right now, in honesty, love and respect for others.

This season, which is here before us, has always been about warmth, giving, sharing, laughter, joy, remembrance and sunshine. Take the time to remember and honor who you are, take the time to lovingly acknowledge yourself in every possible way and step boldly out in whom you are, for you have the greatest of powers with you; you have the power of Free Will. Free Will to be who you are, it is very uncomplicated, when you think about it, the choice is yours.

As you are making your choices, take the time to stop and feel who you are, feel how your heart warms up with the loving appreciation that you have just given it, send yourself love, ask the master teacher Jesus to embrace you, and then just feel... feel his warmth of love, flow through your body as his presence steps forward to be with you. When we take the time to sincerely ask - we then receive; always know that you receive each day with each thought that you send out to the universe. It is when you take the time to feel and respect that, which is in you, the Universe can then say “ So be it “ and you feel it moving inside your body with every breath you take, opening up all that is within you. Embrace it, celebrate it and give thanks of gratitude to all that is before you, and then, to the master teacher, and all who have and will, come into your life, for being the instrument in your learning, for being there to assist you in knowing you are loved for who you are.

Take the time now, to say “I Love you“ to yourself and mean it in every way!

The Blue Butterfly by Sherry B. True
It was the morning after the passing of my Dad and we were all sitting out on the back porch watching the sun come up numb from the night before. The months before his death had been taxing on the whole family, especially my mother and my sister. They had become the main care givers to my father in his final days. We were all physically and emotionally drained. Because I lived out of state I went home every couple of weekends to give everyone a break. The rides back to Maryland were often heartbreaking because I never knew when I was going to get “the call” to come home. I had always hoped to be with him when he decided to transition home.

Dad had been diagnosed with prostate cancer 9 years earlier and had surgery to remove the cancer at that time. After the surgery the doctor said they were unable to get all of it but there were options my father could consider after he recuperated. He opted to not do anything. For him it was probably the best choice. He was one of the strongest men I knew. It wasn’t a physical strength as much as it was an inner strength. My Mother always said it was from his training as a Marine that he was so tough. I think it was more the spirit of the man than the Marine training.

He enjoyed life and was the kind of person that would often do things for other people and not mention it to anyone. We come from a small town in upstate New York and a lot of old fashioned values are still in place. It is a place where neighbors still helped neighbors. It wasn’t until his funeral that we, as his family, realized just how many peoples’ lives he touched. Hundreds of people were there, more than the average number of people who showed up for a funeral in this small town. They were all sharing their stories with my Mom about things my father had done for them and how much his acts of kindness meant to them.

The last two years of his life he was in more pain than he had let on. He was slowing down more, becoming more forgetful and cranky. Being a stubborn German he refused to go back to the doctor until the pain was unbearable. Finally when he could no longer deal with the pain he and my mother went to the doctor. It was decided that they would opt for chemo treatment to see if they could get the spreading cancer under control. A few months later they returned to the doctor after several treatments only to find out he had stage four cancer and there was nothing else they could do for him. He was immediately put on hospice.

In his mind he was always going to beat it. It wasn’t until two weeks before he passed with tears in his eyes that he told my Mom he was done and he knew he wasn’t going to win this battle. They both held each other and cried. They had been married for almost 50 years and life as they both knew it would soon never be the same. He wasn’t a religious man or even a spiritual man, but he did have faith right up until the end. We were raised Catholic and when push came to shove I know he prayed and held onto his faith to get him through.

I got “the call” from my brother early on that Wednesday morning that I needed to come home. It felt like that trip was one of the longest drives I had made from Maryland to New York. It was all pretty much a blur as I relived memories of my Dad. I arrived in New York at about 1:30 pm. Because of hospice he was able to stay in the home where he had grown up and where we as children had grown up.

As I approached him I could see he was totally out of it due to the medicine needed to help with the pain. He was covered in bruises and morphine patches. He was so bloated from the steroids he barely looked like the man I knew. My sister held his hand and told him I was there. I leaned over so he could see me. I could see him straining through his film covered eyes to see me. His last words to me were, “I thought you were your sister.” It was the last words he would ever say in this physical world. Because he now had his whole family there he began the final journey home.

The priest from the local church came in shortly after I arrived that afternoon to provide him his last rites. The rest of the evening I sat with him and kept telling him it was O.K. to go home now. My mother, brother and sister had done the same earlier in the day. There was nothing except his will keeping him earth-bound. Twelve hours after I arrived, my Dad passed in the comfort of his home with his family surrounding him. His spirit now rests with the Divine Father and Mother.

As we sat around the glass top patio table drinking coffee early that morning after, there appeared an iridescent blue butterfly fluttering around. He came out of nowhere and came to light beside my arm that was resting on the table top. He was magnificent! I had not seen a butterfly come that close before and just sit there. Even with all the movement and talking going on at the table the butterfly didn’t budge. He stayed for quite a long time. It was as if he had a message to give and wouldn’t leave until his message was given. As I studied him I could feel the presence of my Dad and the feeling that this was his sign to me that he was fine now, the transformation had taken place. It was shortly after that communication to me that the butterfly happily took off. The rest of the week I was home for the funeral and not once did I see the blue butterfly again. Until one year later.

I was turning 50 in August and had asked my Dad for a gift for my birthday, just so that I knew he was still around, even though I knew he was. The day was almost over and I was taking the mail to the mailbox outside of work when right in front of me flew the same iridescent colored blue butterfly! I had not seen one in the area before. Tears stared to roll down my cheeks as I realized my Dad had once again sent the blue butterfly as his messenger. I thanked my father for the gift. There was a sense of contentment knowing he was still around and finally at peace.

There would be other signs he showed to other members of the family following the two weeks after he passed. He wreaked havoc in the house by blowing lights out and messing with the plumbing in the kitchen. He also left one of his treasured beer steins in the center of the den for my mother and brother to find. My brother had taken my Mom to get groceries and upon returning they found the stein sitting straight up in the middle of the floor in the den with the top open. All his steins were displayed on shelves that sat high up near the ceiling. If the stein had fallen it surely would have shattered and not have landed upright. To this day they are still looking for a logical answer. They are not too keen on believing in the spiritual side of life.

For me however the blue butterfly will forever be a message from my Dad, letting me know spirit does live on and we are all connected and continually loved by our loved ones on the other side. Forgiveness by Kim Gough
Forgiveness. Its one of those highly charged words that either gets people staring at the floor or debating over just what is and what is not forgivable. It is one of the easiest and yet most difficult things on Earth one can do. Just about every world religion has some teaching on the nature of forgiveness, some sort of Prodigal Son story. Some spiritual disciplines, such as those studied in A Course in Miracles, maintain that true forgiveness pierces the veil of illusion, allowing one to come to the realization of the oneness of all.

The definition of forgiveness says that it is the mental and/or spiritual process of ceasing to feel resentment or anger against another person for a perceived offence, difference or mistake, or ceasing to demand punishment or restitution. So basically if there is any person (or situation for that matter) we really dislike, want to lash out at, or consider getting even with, we have work to do. If we read through this and start feeling uneasy or angry, we have work to do.

Obviously, it takes great discipline to get to the point where we can be like Mahatma Gandhi, who forgave his own assassin as he lay dying, but practicing the art of forgiveness is definitely a worthy endeavor, if not just for the spiritual and physical rewards one gains for themselves.

Spiritually, forgiveness helps hone us to be the clean and clear channel our wise spiritual teachers coax us to become, so that we may hear the voice of Spirit much more clearly, and convey messages of hope and enlightenment as opposed to messages with a fearful or negative edge.

Physically, clinical studies have shown that that people who forgive are happier and healthier than their counterparts who hold resentments. Emotions such as anger and resentment trigger the release of hormone like substances such as cortisol, which can have grave effects over time on the body, such as memory loss, depression, fatigue, heart malfunction, and the list goes on and on. For those concerned with outward appearances, these same “stress chemicals” also have a detrimental effect on the skin and hair.

There are a great many resources for working with the act of forgiveness, many just an internet search away, or a quick conversation with a trusted spiritual teacher. Wikiquote, on the online encyclopedia, Wikipedia, has an entire collection of quotations related to the subject. A Course in Miracles has many helpful quotes and exercises on attaining forgiveness, regardless of one’s affinity to its teachings. An example is Lesson 249, which states: “Forgiveness ends all suffering and loss.”

Some psychologists recommend a type of meditation in which one simply visualizes those we need or wish to forgive walking towards them in a beautiful meadow, and telling them to their face in this safe mental environment that they are released from any anger or resentment. The act of forgiving in this case is simply to relieve the client of past hurts and traumas, without having to confront the perpetrator in a physical setting.

Sometimes though, it just seems that it is helpful to have something tangible, downright touchable to remind and comfort us as we attempt to walk the winding, narrow path that is forgiveness, and fortunately for us, the loveable mineral kingdom is more than happy to help. Certain gemstones and crystals have been used for centuries as tools to raise and/or balance our vibration so that we can better attain lofty goals such as forgiveness.

Stones for forgiveness can be grouped by color, starting of course with pink stones, since this color is most often associated with love.

Rose Quartz - the most renowned gem of forgiveness of course, which most folks have heard of, known for emitting warm, positive vibrations of pure love and forgiveness.
Rhodocrosite - an almost “hot pink” gem even in its opaque grade, really pumps up the loving vibrations when worn or carried with Rose Quartz, and can help stir us to act upon them.
Rhodonite - most often an opaque soft whitish pink semiprecious gem with black striations, has been used historically for releasing resentment, and drawing to its wearer the ability to see both sides of a situation.
Tourmalines - good love and forgiveness gems. Red –for mending a broken heart, Pink – opens the heart to unconditional love, Watermelon – (two toned) teaches us to live in harmony with others, Black – great for removing negativity.
Pink Calcite - also a forgiveness stone.

Purple stones are often associated with spirituality and higher ideals:
Amethyst – inner peace and spiritual transformation.
Charoite – light pinkish lavender to purple opaque stone that instills unconditional love and acceptance of others, helps with letting go of old attachments and relationships.
Sugilite – often called Christ Stone, and Luvlite for its spiritually transforming qualities. Absorbs and dissolves anger and hurt, draws love and understanding.

Blue stones are thought to connect us with Angels and instill tranquility.
Blue topaz –aids spiritual growth, insight.
Turquoise –often called friendship stone, a master healer.
Angelite –draws Angels, healing, unconditional love, peace.

Earthy colored stones ground our spiritual ideals into our physical bodies.
Red Jasper – helps with forgiveness by aligning the heart energies.
Amber – draws negative energy away on both physical and spiritual levels, so considered a “cure all” for stress related ailments, among others.
Smoky Quartz – draws forgiveness to self or others, helps ground our desires into the physical, and repels negativity.
Green Jade – calms anxiety and harmonizes relationships.

These stones are a great addition to the quest for forgiveness, and can be “supercharged” simply by clearing (see August Angelic Wise Ones Newsletter) and then forming an intention/program such as “you will help me to forgive others”, or “so and so”, then sending that intention through your hands and into the crystal.

Remember that forgiveness is not limited to others, and though often it is most difficult to bestow it upon ourselves, it may be one of the most important and helpful of our lessons on this physical plane.

The AniLa, Tibetan Nuns Project
I know a lot of us support numerous philanthropic and humanitarian activities and causes.
So when I came across a story about AniLa, Tibetan nuns who actually dwell in tiny vertical slits in the side of the mountains in the Gyantse, Tibet area, I knew I had to do something to help them. (The male monks, by the way, at least have real caves and housing built outside the caves to live in now.)

Although I am personally donating a contribution to the Sound Healing Foundation, which will help Judi Sion raise money to produce a CD of the AniLa, Tibetan nuns chanting their prayers. I feel, in my heart, the need to be an advocate to “spread the word” about the AniLa nuns and about the “Tibetan Nuns Project”. It’s not just a matter of contributing money; it’s a matter of humanity. A lot of women globally live in “tough” places as the AniLa, Tibetan nuns do, and I feel by sharing Judi Sion’s story we can all help create change.

I hope you will take the time to read this touching story, “Begging Bowl” by Judi Sion.
It profoundly touched my heart and I hope it will touch your heart as well.
